How God supports every believer to our journey to heaven!
Jesus died on the cross:
Why was the death of Jesus so important to the believer?
I Peter 2:21-25: For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22. Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23. Who, when he was reviled, reviled not, again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judges righteously: 24. Who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the shepherd and the Bishop of your souls.
John 3:16-17: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17. For God sent not his son in the world to condemn the world: but that the world through him might be saved.
Without the sinless sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, eternal salvation for man would not come into existence. Jesus was the only one who came to earth and lived a sinless life. He was 100% man and 100% God. By his precious blood we are redeemed, if we repent of our sins and ask Jesus to come into our life through the Holy Spirit and then continue faithfully until the end.
It was his holy sacrificed that allowed Christians to be able to go to heaven. Because Jesus said in Matthew 5:7 “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Sin is not permitted in heaven so it took Jesus sacrifice who died for our sins.
Jesus arose out of the grave:
Why is the resurrection of Jesus necessary?
Luke 24:1-7 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. 2. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. 3. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 4. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold 2 men stood by them in shining garments: 5. And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them. Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6. He is not here, but he is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 7. Saying, The son of man must be delivered in the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead: behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
John 14:19b Jesus said, “because I live, ye shall live also.”
Jesus promised in the book of first Thessalonians chapter 4, I will not leave the Saints in the grave. When I rapture the church, the dead in Christ shall rise first and those that live and remain shall be caught up to be forever with Jesus!
I Thessalonians 4:13-18: but I would not have you to be ignorant brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead in the grave), that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, Even so them also would sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Jesus gives every believer the Holy Spirit
Can you live the Christian life without the Holy Spirit?
John 14:15-18: If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16. And I will pray the father, and he shall give you another comforter (Holy Spirit), that he may abide with you forever; 17. Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
I John 4:4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he (Holy Spirit) that is in you, than he (Satan) that is in the world.
John 16:7-9: it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, end of judgment: 9. Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10. Of richness because I go to my father, and you see me no more, of judgment, because the Prince of this world (Satan) is judged.
The gift of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us will never leave us nor forsake us. The Holy Spirit will guide the believer on this earthly journey that leads to heaven let us, Thank God for Gift of the Holy Spirit. No man can live the Christian life without the Holy Spirit dwelling in our lives.
God gives us angels to protect the believer
Why do we have guardian angels?
Psalms 34:7: the Angel of the Lord and campeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
God gives us angels to protect us from evil. Some angels have been sent as messengers to deliver us in times of trouble. All throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament God speaks of angels who watch over and protect his chosen. Today, God gives us angels for protection the same way and helps us on her journey to heaven. The Bible speaks that we may entertain angels unaware, remember they are there for our good and for our protection. This is extra help that God has given the Saints of God to complete their journey to heaven.
God gives us the Bible
Does the Bible give us instruction to make it to heaven?
The holy Bible was given to us as our guide here on earth and on her journey to heaven. The Bible teaches us how to be saved, how to live the Christian life on earth and how we must endure to the end to make it to God's heaven. If we study the word of God daily we will here from God himself from the word of God. John 1:1 We are told that the word of God represents Jesus himself. John 1:1-5: In The beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4. In Him was life and the life was the light of men. 5. And the light shineth in darkness; and darkness comprehended it not.
God gives us our churches
Why is it important for Christians to help each other?
Hebrews 10:23-25: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24. And let us consider one another to provoke one another unto love and to good works: 25. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; But exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
Ephesians 6:18: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplications for All Saints.
James 5:16: Confess your faults one to another, pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Ephesians 4:11-12: And he gave some, apostles; and some, evangelist, and some pastors and teachers; 12. For the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: ( Edify means to build up, strengthen, and develop each other in our walk with Christ it can also mean to promote spiritual growth and maturity, and help others become more like Christ. The word edify comes from the word edifice, which means something constructed. In the Bible, Christians are called to be construction workers, and builders of people.
The Church of God today is to be a place that is safe to worship God. A place where Christians can grow in the word of God. Where we can pray for one another and share one another's burdens. God instructs us to mourn for those who mourn and to rejoice with those that rejoice. Church was designed to be a community of believers that help each other to grow and be fruitful and prepare the next generation to serve God successfully.
