What will we see in heaven? Part II

 Good morning, Zion’s Refuge Church! What a great time to be alive September 1st, 2024. Get your bibles ready, today we'll be reading from Revelation 19:6-9. Come join me today as we continue our journey through heaven and the things that we will see in heaven. You got your bibles ready let's start reading, Revelation 19 verse 6.

Marriage supper of the Lamb:

Who is the bride of Christ?)

 There is rejoicing in heaven, 24 elders, four beasts fall down and worship God that is on the throne, saying Amen; Hallelujah. The 7th seal was opened, and Lamb’s wrath was released on earth and Babylon has fallen. Jesus has avenged the blood of the martyrs and the righteous that went through the great tribulation. The marriage and the supper of the Lamb and and his bride (The Church) is now taking place in heaven. The dark days of the tribulation are past, now, we're looking forward to the majestical reign of Christ on earth. Revelation 19:6-9: And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying Alleluia, For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 7. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife have made herself ready. 8. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is righteousness of the Saints. 9. And he saith unto me, write, blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he sayeth unto me these are the true sayings of God.

Battle of Armageddon:

( 2. What major battle brings the tribulation period to a climax?)

 At the climax of the great tribulation, all nations will battle Against Jerusalem. “The Battle of Armageddon”, will be fought in the valley of Jezreel. The word Armageddon comes from the Hebrew phrase Har Megiddo (muh gee dow), which means the Mount of Megiddo. Megiddo overlooks the Jezreel valley and is technically part of it. The beast, the false prophet, Satan, and all world leaders attempt to destroy the righteous God, and His people.

 Revelation 19:11-16: And I saw heaven opened, and behold a White Horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called the Word of God. 14. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed and fine linen, white and clean. 15. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine Press of the fierceness and the wrath of the Almighty God. 16. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, king of kings, and Lord of Lords. (Rev14:19-20; The flow of blood from “The Battle of Armageddon” will be 10 miles wide, 6 feet deep, 184 to 200 miles long. You want to be with Jesus that day. Can’t imagine the bloodshed of this terrible battle.)

Supper of the great God:

( 3. How will God dispose of the millions of bodies that are killed in the Battle of Armageddon?)

 Revelation 19:17-18: And I saw an Angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18. That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and then that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

 After the great battle of Armageddon, there will be millions of dead people, that needed to be disposed of. God will call birds of prey to come to devour the dead bodies leftover from this great battle. Around the mountains Megiddo for years there have been gathering birds of prey for this last time event. This area is the migratory route for these birds of prey. God takes care of the most minute detail.

The beast and the false prophet sent to the lake of fire:

(4. Where will the beast and the false prophet live, for the rest of eternity?)

Revelation 19:20-21: And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sit upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

 The beast and the false prophet were not killed in the battle of Armageddon. Jesus saved them alive and cast them into a lake of burning fire where they shall be forever. The beast and the false prophet received a righteous judgment by Jesus, never to deceive God’s elect anymore. Satan will have a different judgment.

Satan and his end:

(5. What is Satan’s final judgement?)

Revelation 20:1-3: And I saw an Angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him 1000 years. 3. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the 1000 years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

 The unholy Trinity has been broken up by Jesus. It is now down to one person left in the unholy Trinity and that is Satan. Jesus binds him with a great chain and cast him into the bottomless pit. He has no power to escape Jesus is greater than the. Satan only has the power that God allows him to manifest.

 The Saints that rose first out of the grave and the raptured Saints will never die no more. They will live and reign with Christ during 1000 year reign of Christ. They have already been redeemed and overcame all the temptations that Satan has Presented to them. There will be men and women and children who lived during the great tribulation, will reign with Christ. They will not have on their immortal bodies, but they will have children and raise families throughout the 1000 year reign of Christ. With Satan locked up in hell for a thousand years, the offspring of the tribulation saints never had temptation. Thus, Satan will be loosed at the end of the 1000 years out of the bottomless pit. Satan will tempt these children of the tribulation and many will fall to Satan’s sinful tricks.

 Satan will raise up an enormous army that will come against Jesus, and fire will come down from heaven, and devour them. Satan himself will be cast alive into the lake of fire where he shall be forever and forever, Satan’s eternal judgment.

 Revelation 20:10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The Great White Throne Judgement:

(6. Where do the people come from, being judged at the white throne judgement?)

 We will not be a witness at the great white judgment throne of God. John writes this as a warning, so we will not be part of this judgment. This judgment is for sinners only. They will be judged from two different books. We are not told about the first book, only that it will be opened and viewed by Jesus. Then there will be the book of life, and the dead will be judged out of this book, according to their life on earth. Sadly, at this judgment none of their names will be in this book, this book is the Lambs book of life ( It only records the saved of God). It is so important that your turn your life to God, repent of your sins and confess him with your lips that you are a Christian. Like a song that's been sung today I'll have a new name written down in glory and it's mine. No matter how much you achieve in life, you will end up in the lake of fire unless your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life.

 Revelation 20:11-15: and I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12. And I saw the dead, small and the great stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14. And death and hell were cast in the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Invitation:

 God has made a plan that whosoever will call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. The saved will not go through tribulation and suffer loss. We will stand victorious throughout eternity in heaven. There is a choice that you and only you can make for yourself. Jesus is calling for you to be saved, please listen. There's a small gentle voice pleading, bring your burdens and leave them at Jesus’ feet. The altar is open he's tenderly calling. Repent of your sins, ask Jesus to come in your life, and confess that Jesus is Lord of your life.
